Is your church community looking for a new activity? Does your youth group need a special project that is both fun and educational? Are you interested in a program that will entertain church members of all ages?
If you answer "yes" to any or all of the above questions, your congregation will enjoy performances of any or all of the You Were There © plays. These plays, each about thirty minutes in length, were originally written for our church community. Performances were held during Sunday services. The plays are a combination of history, entertainment, education, and spiritual messages. The plays are in the form of a fictional 1940s radio show. In each, the program host interviews a group of people who were witnesses to historical events. Our 500th anniversary commemoration play tells the story of Martin Luther and the beginning of the Reformation. Our three other plays are linked to special events: The Birth of Christ, The Last Supper, and the Resurrection.
